David is a painter whose success has brought him fame, money and insulation from the life experiences that inspired him to paint. When he decides he needs to get out in the world again and takes a job at a small cafe as a waiter, the last thing he expects is to fall in love with Matt, part of the husband and wife couple that own the cafe. Love, hate, life and death -- all have a place in this contemporary story about a group of thirty-something urbanites whose lives seem to be coming apart.

"Atrocity is 'the new black' ", says filmmaker and playwright Neil LaBute. The play is a dark vision of casual atrocity; "matter of fact brutality" as LaBute puts it, in which understandable individuals with mundane characteristics inflict pain on themselves and others in the name of prosaic goals with socially insignificant results. The work takes the form of an assemblage of three monologues themed around ordinary people who commit murder. The author reinforces the awfulness of the crimes by framing them with stories which lack a sense of redemption or catharsis. Each piece is instead a testament to the creeping horror which has enveloped the murderers (or is poised to) even as life goes on as if what they had done had never happened.

8 Reindeer
by Jeff Goode
Directed by Dan Tursi
A wickedly funny alternative to traditional candy-cane cheer. Scandal erupts at the North Pole when one of Santa's eight tiny reindeer accuses him of sexual harassment. As the mass media descends upon the event, the other members of the sleigh team demand to share their perspectives, and a horrific tale of corruption and perversion emerges -which seems to implicate everyone from the teeniest elf to the tainted Saint himself. With each deer's stunning confession, the truth behind the shocking allegations becomes clearer...and murkier.
7 Santas
by Jeff Goode

Scandal erupts at the North Pole when the most powerful man on Earth is sentenced to rehab for a minor traffic violation. But when he finds himself in a detox program run by the estranged Mrs. Claus, Santa's desperate struggle to conceal the truth about his arrest, uncovers yet another sordid secret that could mean the end of Christmas-as-we-know-it.

The musical follows the lives of five young friends as they voice beliefs, desires, questions and doubts common to all people but most disarmingly expressed by children. Sixteen tuneful songs and assorted scenes explore timeless issues such as sibling rivalry, divorce, holidays, loss of a beloved pet, and the trials of being unathletic and first love.

When CB's dog dies from rabies, CB begins to question the existence of an afterlife. His best friend is too burnt out to provide any coherent speculation; his sister has gone goth; his ex-girlfriend has recently been institutionalized; and his other friends are too inebriated to give him any sort of solace. When the seed of West Side Story's "Somewhere" is planted into the soul of a gay child, the quest of the play begins. Nine inter-connected scenes interpret this landmark theatrical event, while charting a molten course through the depths and shallows of the urban gay male experience.
Rarely Done Productions_Ben Fiore
Ben Fiore's life has revolved around music. From the minute he was born he was getting used to blasting Billy Joel and Elton John casettes around the house. He would even sit on a stool and play along with his Little Tikes guitar watching children's music videos. Ben took piano from the ages of four to fourteen and also took guitar from the ages of thirteen to eighteen. He wrote his first song on the piano in the eighth grade and it was quite a disaster but he knew it was the right thing to do to keep writing.
Through high school, Ben wrote about fifteen songs, and another thirty or so in college. Developing new styles of writing for his songs has been a challenge, but Ben has finally found his point in rhythm with his music and lyrics. Ben's main influences are Jason Mraz, The Goo Goo Dolls, Coldplay, Ben Folds, Snow Patrol, Lifehouse, Matchbox Twenty and the list goes on.

Tonight, Ben Fiore will be sharing with you 13 of his original songs off his new album The Songs in Black and White. Ben recorded this album down in Tampa, FL and wants to thank Apple Recording Studios for all their hard work in making the album. This album has more of Ben's most recent songs and also Ben's first song ever written on the guitar, in ninth grade. The majority of the songs were written while Ben was off at school. Many experiences of the ups and the downs has brought this album where it needs to be to tell a story. Ben will briefly be explaining how each song came about before he plays them so you (the audience) are more in tune with the meaning of the songs. Hope you enjoy the show!
